Coho Salmon
July 30 – September 5
Western Alaska, Arctic Alaska Region

Coho salmon production starts in early August for the first Coho anywhere in Alaska, ending in early September. These are the finest Coho produced in Alaska. Very red meat color and high oil content make these fish very desirable in the Japanese market. Short openings, 100% iced boats and immediate processing makes these coho salmon absolutely the best in Alaska. Openings for fishing are known well in advance, allowing us to coordinate shipments well in advance of actual fishing.
